HS: Fall SIMA FAB 50, Oct. 20
BIG MOVERS: BOYS: Father Judge (Philadelphia, Pa.). For the second straight week, a Philadelphia area boys team is tabbed as the week's big mover. This time, Father Judge jumped 12 spots from No. 24 to No. 12 following a 1-0 win over Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, Pa.) in a battle of highly ranked undefeated teams. GIRLS: Brebeuf Jesuit (Indianapolis, Ind.). Brebeuf has re-established itself as Indianapolis' top title threat this year after winning a regional title last week. The Braves lost twice during the regular season, a pair of one-goal setbacks to Carmel (Carmel, Ind.) and Zionsville (Zionsville, Ind.). Zionsville upended former state No. 1 Carmel early in the playoffs and Brebeuf rose to the top of the title chase with a 3-1 win over Zionsville in the regional final. That sequence of event help lift Brebeuf from No. 39 to No. 25 this week.
NEWCOMERS: BOYS: No. 42 Atwater (Atwater, Calif.), No. 46 Hickman (Columbia, Mo.), No. 47 Ithaca (Ithaca, N.Y.), No. 48 Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, N.J.) and No. 50 McMinnville (McMinnville, Ore.). GIRLS: No. 44 Fairfield (Fairfield, Ohio), No. 45 Mason (Mason, Ohio), No. 46 West Morris Central (Chester, N.J.), No. 48 Bel Air (Bel Air, Md.) and No. 49 Portland Jesuit (Portland, Ore.).
