HS: State, region rankings, April 11
Upsets continue to rock the Texas girls rankings, while the season-long top two boys teams have reached the state semifinals.
This week, the winter season finally draws to a close with the Texas UIL state finals.
Meanwhile, the last of the spring-playing states start regular-season play this week.
WINTER NEWS
Klein (Texas) and Allen (Texas) were bumped in the Texas girls playoffs last week, pretty much putting an end to the chances that any Texas team will finish atop of the SIMA FAB 50 girls rankings this year. Klein and Allen were ranked 1-2 in both the state and SIMA FAB 50 rankings last week.
On the boys side, Coppell (Texas) and Wakeland (Frisco, Texas) won three times last week to reach their respective state semifinals. They are in line to finish as the nation's highest-ranking public schools if both win state titles this weekend.
