HS: TeamSnap Boys All-America update
More than 650 fall- and winter-playing high school boys players made the cut for the Fall TeamSnap All-America Watch List, Winter TeamSnap All-America Watch List and the Spring TeamSnap All-America Watch List.
Players, through coaches recommendations and TopDrawerSoccer staff observations, will be added each week to the list as performances warrant. The only players that will be removed from the list will be athletes who are no longer playing high school soccer or sustain a season-ending injury that will take them out of all-state consideration.
The TeamSnap All-America teams are not announced until the end of the school year.

Here are recent performances and updates from players on the TeamSnap All-America Watch Lists:
BOYS
* Jack Barkley, Bishop Kelley (Okla.), So.: Barkley, whose older brother recently signed with Saint Louis University, netted six goals in two matches last week. Opponents have been keeping a close eye on Ben Barkley, a senior, while Jack is starting to roll up impressive stats early in the season.
* Dominique Dean, Tulsa Union, Sr.: Known as D.J., Dean scored twice in Tulsa Union's 3-1 win over Broken Arrow. He's one of two NCAA Division I-bound players in Union's starting lineup, as he recently signed with Central Arkansas.
* MF/F Axel Lemus, Bellflower (Calif.), Jr.: Lemus has scored six goals this year, but four came last week -- two each in the CIF Division 4 semifinal and championship matches -- as Bellflower won its second section title in three seasons. Lemus had both of the goals in the final, a 2-0 win over Saugus.
* F Mayno Linares, Alief Elsik (Texas), Fr.: Impact freshman are few and far between in high school soccer, especially on the Texas 6A level where most of the schools are pulling from 2,500+ students. In any case, Linares is beginning to look like the next prodigy from Elsik, which has turned out quite a few talented player in the past five years. Linares scored five goals last week as Elsik won a pair of matches.
* F Daniel Trejo, Mendota (Calif.), Sr.: Trejo is making a repeat visit to this list -- which aims to honor five different players each week. A few weeks away, Trejo became California's all-time goal scoring leader. On Tuesday, he scored twice in Mendota's CIF Southern California Regional quarterfinals, giving him an even 200 for his career -- the first prep player in California to ever reach that number.
NOTE: The fall All-America watch list includes only players from high school teams that compete during the fall season. The inaugural Winter All-America watch list was released in November and includes players from the seven winter-playing states, and the inaugural Spring All-America watch list was released in February.
