BIG MOVERS -- BOYS: Douglas (Parkland, Fla.). Undefeated Douglas vaulted from No. 47 to No. 15 this week, powered by a tie with fellow undefeated and No. 14-ranked Cypress Bay (Weston, Fla.). GIRLS: Keller (Keller, Texas). Keller, after a 2-1-1 showing at NEPS a week earlier, jumped from No. 49 to No. 6 this week after a 4-0 win over former SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 Southlake Carroll (Southlake, Texas). The meeting with Southlake Carroll took place in the Allison Horn Memorial final.

NEWCOMERS: BOYS: No. 9 [Porter tx-m] (Brownsville, Texas), No. 21 Plano Senior (Plano, Texas), No. 39 Keller Central (Fort Worth, Texas), No. 40 The Woodlands (The Woodlands, Texas), No. 43 Tesoro (Las Flores, Calif.), No. 46 Duncanville (Duncanville, Texas), No. 47 [Doral (Miami) fl-m] (Doral, Fla.), No. 48 Jupiter (Jupiter, Fla.), No. 49 Pinnacle (Phoenix, Ariz.) and No. 50 Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, Fla.). LOOKING AHEAD: BOYS: The Florida district playoffs are scheduled for this week. The SIMA FAB 50-ranked teams will be heavy favorites, but a loss but the district final will bring about an early end to the season and a likely exit from the SIMA FAB 50. GIRLS: This week's Ladies Governor’s Cup in Georgetown, Texas, will feaure seven SIMA FAB 50 teams -- all from the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston areas. There is no champion, but the round-robin group play will certainly help sort of the true state title contenders.
