Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) boys and Marcus (Flower Mound, Texas) were the preseason No. 1 teams in the SIMA FAB 50 winer rankings, which were released Nov. 1.

The rankings were coupled in October and do not include any matches played this season.

The first of the weekly updates will be released Tuesday, Dec. 6.

Montverde Academy, the four-time defending SIMA FAB 50 national champs, is riding a national record 136-match undefeated streak entering this season. Montverde is ahead of Coppell (Texas) in the boys rankings.

Texas teams occupy the top two spots in the girls rankings with Marcus and Southlake Carroll (Southlake, Texas).
