SIMA FAB 50 HS Rankings Update: Oct. 28
Playoffs are starting to take its toll on the SIMA FAB 50 rankings.
In girls soccer last week, a number of Ohio favorites made early exits, and previously ranked undefeated teams from Utah and Idaho lost in state finals. The net result is eight new teams in this week's girls SIMA FAB 50. There is no change among the Top 5 as Northern Highlands (N.J.) remains No. 1, followed by McDonogh School (Md.), Maria Carrillo (Calif.), Immaculate Heart Academy (N.J.) and Walsh Jesuit (Ohio).
In boys soccer, only six new teams join the FAB 50, but there is plenty of movement among the Top 25. Appoquinimink (Del.) cracks the Top 10 for the first time ever, and undefeated teams Canton (Mich.), Massapequa (N.Y.) and Unionville (Pa.) moves into the Nos. 11-13 spots, ahead of a slew of one-loss programs.
This week, state champions will be crowned in Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota.
