Texas standout makes in-state commitment

A rising talent in Texas plans on staying in her home state after making her commitment.
Solar Chelsea defender Leah Chancey recently committed to join SMU as part of the 2020 recruiting class. Part of Solar’s excellent U15 ECNL squad, Chancey is the No. 29 ranked player in the 2020 Girls IMG Academy Top 150.

As a freshman at Heritage High School, Chancey enjoyed a strong campaign, earning an Honorable Mention from the Dallas Morning News for the All-Area girls soccer team while playing in the midfield.
Chancey is the second player to verbally commit to join SMU in 2020, joining Payton Doiron.
