Three-way tie in U13 Girls Int'l Group

LAKE BUENA VISTA — On day three of the Disney Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Wednesday, the winners separated themselves from the rest of the pack.
In the Men’s U18 International group, Rural Alphaz (Florida) sits atop bracket 1 with seven points. In their latest match, they took down UAI Futebole UFC (Brazil) 6-0.
In bracket 2, the Coral Springs Storm (Florida) picked up a point in a 1-1 draw against Indios De Mayaguez AC (Puerto Rico). The Storm won their first two games to lead the bracket with seven points.
The Woodbridge Strikers (Canada) have conceded only two goals through three games and have shut out two opponents to lead bracket A of the Women’s U18 International group with nine points. The Strikers won 3-0 on Wednesday, the third consecutive day they scored three times in a match.
In bracket B of the Women’s U18 group, the London United Red Devils (Canada) lost their first game of the Disney Cup, dropping a 3-2 decision to the UAI Futebole UFC (Brazil). The Red Devils still hold a three-point lead with six points in the division.
Southwest Florida United (Florida) has shutout all three of their opponents in the tournament to lead the group with nine points. They will face Ottawa South United 94 Force (Canada) in the Girls U16 International championship game, defeating them 2-0 on Wednesday.
The Boys U15 International group has one team in each group with three wins thus far. Florida Rush Nike (Florida) has tallied nine goals and allowed zero while the Orlando FC Ballers (Florida) have outscored their opponents by 10 goals. Both Florida schools will face each other in the championship game.
With seven points, the Jean Lillywhite Trinidad Lions take on the Kraze Academy 95 Chillcott (Florida) in the Boys U14 International championship game. Kraze finished the group stage with three victories.
A three-way tie sits atop the Girls U13 International group. The Red Deer Renegades (Canada), Lasalle Minor SA Rapides (Canada) and the South Suburban Academy Energie FC (Illinois) finished with six points. The Renegades have a plus-13 goal differential while the Rapides and the Energie have a plus-two goal differential, with the Energie scoring more goals.
In the Girls U11 International group, South Suburban Academy Energie FC (Illinois) and the East Orange Soccer Forza Gold (Florida) finished with the top points in the group. They face each other in the championship game.
