REDMOND, Wash. -- The second-to-last day of the ECNL Girls National Playoffs saw a champion crowned.

San Diego Surf captured the Under-19 crown, defeating Concorde Fire Platinum by a 5-0 score in the title game. Kennedy Roesch was named Player of the Match.

That was just one of the many games of drama that took place for the three oldest age groups. Of the 16 Champions League games on the day six required penalty kicks to decide which teams would progress to Virginia.

Quarterfinalists

Under-16: So Cal Blues, San Diego Surf, De Anza Force, Crossfire Premier, Slammers FC HB Koge, Penn Fusion, Real Colorado, FC Stars Blue

Under-17: Solar SC, FC Dallas, Beach FC (CA), Slammers FC HB Koge, Indy Eleven Pro Academy, Legends FC, KC Athletics, Penn Fusion
