2012 Top 100 player mull decisions
We continue to take you inside the minds of some of the country’s top prospects.
There are big college decisions to be made – here are a few of them.
Alan Harwell, Birmingham United
Interested in: UAB, Memphis, South Carolina, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
Our No. 83 ranked 2012 player, Harwell is likely a long ways away from making any decisions. He has yet to take any college visits as he’s been busy dominating his U.S. Development Academy competition. Harwell has 10 goals in just 14 games this season.
Interested in: Mostly schools in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic
Hilger is ranked No. 87 in our Top 100. He plans to find a good match following the Development Academy season.
Martin Giordano, Weston FC
Interested in: Cornell, Princeton, Stanford, Richmond, Binghamton
“I am considering schools that are both high in academics and athletics,” said Giordano, our No. 97 2012 prospect. “Hopefully, I will be committed by the beginning of my senior year, saving me the stress of last minute decisions.
John Lujano, Shattuck St. Marys Academy
Interested in: Stanford, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Georgetown, UCLA
Lujano, our No. 68 prospect, recently took a visit to UCLA.
Kyle Bitterman, PA Classics
Interested in: Georgetown, Villanova, Lehigh, Lafayette, Temple, New Hampshire, Liberty
Bitterman, a midfielder for the PA Classics of the Development Academy, has been a busy guy. He’s already taken visits to Georgetown, Villanova, Lehigh, Lafayette, Temple with two more scheduled for Temple and New Hampshire.
“I’m also in email contact with several other universities,” he said. “Every place that I’ve visited has been great. My goal is to be committed by early summer.”
