2016 Boys Regional Rankings Update
We talk a lot at TopDrawerSoccer about the outstanding youth players in the IMG Academy 150, but there are hundreds of others in each age group that deserve recognition as well. So, each Friday following the Monday release of an IMG Academy 150 update, we will highlight eleven of the regionally ranked players from around the country for that class.

Giuseppe Vitale, Midfielder, Vardar – Has appeared in 24 matches with 17 starts for Vardar’s U16 side and has eight goals. Vitale recently made his verbal commitment to Western Michigan.
Addisson Parrish, Defender, Sporting Iowa – Parrish has been a member of the ODP Region II team for a couple of years running, and was recommended to us by college coaches vying for his talents before he made his verbal to Loyola-Chicago last December.
Steven Tekesky, Goalkeeper, Sporting Kansas City – Tekesky has started 19 matches in goal for SKC’s U16s, and was a member of the Generation adidas ESP Showcase Central All-Stars team last August.
Lucca Ricci, Midfielder, Montreal Impact – Ricci was a Canadian men’s U16 national team camp attendee in September 2014 and a member of the Generation adidas ESP Showcase team in August. Ricci has started 17 matches for Montreal’s U16 Development Academy team, and competed for the U16s in the 2013-14 season as well.
Daniel Damiani, Midfielder/Defender, Arlington Impact – Captain of Arlington’s U17 USYS National League team that finished first in the blue division and will compete for a USYS national championship this summer, Damiani is a regular at US Soccer Market Training Centers, and has been on the radar of the DC United Academy staff. He has made a verbal commitment to Virginia Tech.
Jack Casey, Midfielder, PDA – A former id2 attendee as well as a part of the Generation adidas Cup with Philadelphia Union several years ago, Casey has played in 12 matches for PDA’s playoff-bound U18s, accruing four goals, and has made a verbal commitment to Notre Dame.
Tomas Buchmiller, Midfielder, Sacramento United – Buchmiller, who attends Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, was named to the 2014 USYS ODP Winter Interregional All-Star Team for the 1997 birth years.
Munir Saleh, Midfielder, Vancouver Whitecaps – The fluid defensive midfielder was chosen one of the best by TDS at the Development Academy Showcase in Florida for the U16 age group, and is a member of the Canadian U17 Men’s National Team.
John Skahan, Midfielder/Forward, Philadelphia Union – On a loaded roster like the Union’s, it’s no small task to earn a starting spot soon after joining the academy, but Tennessean Skahan made the move from National League contender Sunrise SC in Florida for the 2014-15 season and has become a regular for the No. 2 ranked team in the Grande Sports Academy TeamRank Top 25. Skahan is verbally committed to North Carolina.
Jovanni Garcia, Forward, Pateadores – Garcia is the leading scorer for the Pateadores U16 Development Academy team, with 12 goals in 27 starts.
