2017 Boys Regional Rankings update
Each Friday following the Monday release of an IMG Academy 150 update, we highlight eleven of the regionally ranked players from around the country for that class. All were recommended for their respective regional lists by our network of scouts and coaches.

GK Mike Hunter, Empire United – Hunter joined Empire’s Development Academy at the end of last season, and is already making an impact, starting the first three games at the U18 level this year.
D Andrew Venezia, NJCSA – The left footed center back is a member of the No. 3 high school ranked Christian Brothers Academy as well as NJCSA. His commitment to Lafayette(m) was highlighted in an August TDS article.
D Andrew Rabil, Capital Area Railhawks Academy - CASL – Rabil is a member of the Railhawks Development Academy for the 2016-17 season. In 2016, he led CASL 98 Red to a USYS Region III Championship and a spot at USYS Nationals. He is verbally committed to UNC Wilmington(m).
D Jon-Talen Maples, Georgetown SA – Maples is a member of the Region III ODP team, participating in the ODP Interregional in 2015. He led his Georgetown SA Force 99 White team to a semifinal spot at the 2016 USYS Region III Championships. He is verbally committed to SMU(m).
M Jackson Ragen, Seattle United – Ragen was named to the TeamSnap.com Spring High School All-America second team and earned a daily best nod by TDS for his play at the USYS National Championships in 2016. He is verbally committed to Michigan(m).
M Patrick Murphy, LA Galaxy – The Dartmouth(m) pledge was a member of the Galaxy’s Generation adidas Cup team in 2015. During the 2016-17 season, he has scored three goals in just four starts.
MF Joel Harvey, Indiana Fire – Harvey is a left footed center mid who joined the Fire in 2015 from Fort Wayne United. He played in 24 matches last season, starting 17, and has started all five matches this season. Harvey is verbally committed to Butler(m).
M Kyle McCurley, Chicago Magic – McCurley played 20 matches for the Magic’s U16 Development Academy during the 2015-16 season. He is verbally committed to Wake Forest(m).
M Oscar Periera, Albertson SC – The crafty attacking mid was a member of Albertson’s Development Academy for the 2015-16 season, but after committing to Army(m), he decided to forego the DA for his senior season so he could play for Hastings High School.
F Peirce Williams, Solar Chelsea SC – Williams scored two goals in three matches after joining Solar’s U16 Development Academy in 2016. He recently made a verbal commitment to George Washington(m).
F Dorion Dixon, Bethesda SC – Dixon plays primarily on the left wing for Bethesda’s 18s, and gave his verbal commitment to Duquesne(m) over the summer.
