2017 Girls Regional Rankings Update
Each Friday following the Monday release of an IMG Academy 150 update, we highlight eleven of the regionally ranked players from around the country for that class.
You can check their rankings as well as all the other regionally ranked players here as the regional rankings are released over the next couple of weeks.

GK Madeline Talbot, Shreveport United – Talbot conceded just one goal during Louisiana State Cup play in 2016, helping her team to a third straight title. She attended ODP National Camp in 2015 and is verbally committed to Stephen F. Austin.
D Jordan Thompson, Washington Premier FC – Thompson can play anywhere along the back line, and does so for the WPFC U17 ECNL side. Along with having a good year on her club team, she made a verbal commitment to Gonzaga last summer.
D Alexis Hogarth, Bethesda SC – The defender for Bethesda’s U17 team verbally committed to the University of Maryland in the fall of 2015.
D Allie Nornes, Sereno SC – A multi-year member of the ODP Arizona State team, Nornes played 25 matches and scored two goals for Sereno’s U17 ECNL team. The ECNL team captain is verbally committed to George Washington.
D Meredith Hamby, CASL – The Charlotte recruit was a two-time US Club Soccer id2 participant in 2013.
M Emma Thomas, Beadling SC – Noted for her movement off the ball, the Dayton verbal was selected to the TDS Best XI list for the 2015 USYS Region I Championships. During the 2016 season, Thomas helped her Beadling Bulldogs to a fifth place finish in the Blue Division of the USYS National League, followed by a USYS PA-W State Cup championship with a berth to the Region I Championships.
M Kendall Higgs, Boca United – Higgs is the leading points-getter on the Boca U18s, which finished the ECNL regular season in second place in the Southeast Conference. She is a former member of the ODP Region III team and was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Florida State All-Star team for her play with Oxbridge Academy. She is verbally committed to Pittsburgh.
M Bryanna Duckett, Legends FC – Duckett is a member of the 2015 USYS National Champion and 2016 Cal-South National Cup Champion Legends FC 99. She is verbally committed to Arizona.
M Viviana Villacorta, Beach FC – Villacorta earned a TDS best xi nod for her performance as part of the champion Cal South 99 team at the 2016 ODP National Championships. She is verbally committed to San Diego.
F Lydia Shaw, Beachside SC – Shaw was recommended for her outstanding play at the 2016 PDA College Showcase. Her team, Beachside U17s, were a NEWSS Showcase champion and a Disney Showcase semifinalist.
F Sydney Cooper, West Coast FC – Cooper is a TDS Unsigned Showcase (formerly TDS Combine) alumna where she earned a best xi nod for her performance. She is a member of the 2015 ECNL National Champion WCFC U17 ECNL team, where she has scored 9 goals and added 10 assists so far during the 2015-16 season. She is verbally committed to San Francisco.
