2019 Boys Regional Rankings update
Each Friday following the Monday release of an IMG Academy 150 update, we highlight eleven of the regionally ranked players from around the country for that class. All were recommended for their respective regional lists by our network of scouts and coaches.

GK Thomas Wallis, IMG Academy – Wallis earned honorable mention at the TDS Unsigned Showcase Chicago in 2016 and was a member of Chicago Fire’s academy during the 2015-16 season. He is the starting goalkeeper on IMG’s U16 Academy.
GK David Merola, Capital Area Railhawks-CASL – Merola was named to the U.S. Youth Futsal team in July for a trip to Costa Rica. He was a member of the Sporting Kansas City U16 Academy before moving to the Railhawks for the 2016-17 season.
D Cole Lawrence, Las Vegas SA – Lawrence anchored the defense for the 2016 U14 USYS Region IV champion and national semifinalist LVSA ’01 Red.
D Nathan Toledo, FC Dallas – The left center back earned a spot on the TDS Best XI list at the U14 Development Academy Showcase in June. For the 2016-17 season, Toledo has started five of six matches for FCD’s U16s, scoring one goal.
D Eduardo Blancas, Real Salt Lake AZ – Blancas was picked up by the RSL Academy from Napa Valley FC for the 2016 season. He has five goals in seven matches for RSL’s U16s, and has attended the last two camps with the U16 BNT.
D/M Jayden Reid, New York Red Bulls – Reid earned a nod by TDS as one of the best players in the midfield at the Development Academy showcase last summer. He is a defender on the u16 Red Bull Academy or the 2016-17 season.
M Alessandro Allen, Bethesda SC – Allen is a second year starter on Bethesda’s U16 Development Academy. He started 14 matches for the U16s last year with two goals, and has eight starts this season.
M Ryan McKenna, Braddock Road YC – McKenna, a member of BRYC’s ’01 USYS National League team, was named to the final ODP Region I pool for the 2016-17 season. He received multiple recommendations to be added to our list.
F Everson Amaya, DC United – Amaya has two goals in nine matches for DCU’s U16 Development Academy. He was a 2016 Generation adidas ESP participant.
F Matthew Boberg, Indiana Fire Academy – Boberg is in his second year as part of the Fire’s U15/16 Academy. He scored seven goals during the 2015-16 season, and was named to the TDS daily best list at the Academy Showcase in December of 2015.
F Jaden Wright, Internationals – Wright has started three of four matches for Internationals’ U18 Development Academy this season, as well as playing on the U16s. He scored eight goals at the U14 level last season, and was named to the TDS daily best list at the June showcase.
