2020 Girls IMG Academy Top 150 update
TopDrawerSoccer released the IMG Academy Top 150 Players for the Class of 2020 on Monday. The newest ranking is a spring update for the class, which includes a number of players with Youth National Team experience.
U.S. U17 Women’s National Team winger Jordan Canniff is still the No. 1 player in the class. The Richmond United star looks to be a key piece of the Youth National Team now and for the foreseeable future. Her quality on the ball and creativity in the final third helped separate her from the field in this class.

Astrid Wheeler is the big mover in the top 10 in this update. Wheeler was No. 11 in the winter update, but she jumped up the rankings with her play at the recent international tournament in Italy. Wheeler is ranked as the second best player in this class. Lia Godfrey, Talia DellaPeruta, and Canniff also played in that tournament.
So Cal Blues striker Trinity Rodman also jumped into the top 10 in this update. Rodman’s play with So Cal Blues has been a level above much of this class as she leads the best team in the country in the U15 age group. The dominant forward has yet to be stopped in ECNL play this season. Her combination of physicality, skill, and competitiveness has helped her rapids rise in the TopDrawerSoccer player rankings for this class.

Seattle Reign Academy defender Smith Hunter also moved up the rankings in this update. The U.S. U16 Girls National Team standout is one of the best in the Pacific Northwest and one of the players to watch from this class.
CASL’s Katherine Groff is the top ranked player to debut on this list. Groff checks in at No. 33 in the latest update. She has been a star at the regional level for some time and is now commanding attention on the national stage with recent appearances at the U16 Girls National Team level.
Groff is one of a handful of new players to the IMG Academy Top 150 Players for the Class of 2020 list. Check out the full list here.
