2021 grads eye 2019 U17 MNT cycle
The initial 2021 Boys IMG Academy Top 150 rankings dropped this week, a gander into some of the rising prospects that are at the beginning of an elite soccer career.
One of the first goals for the cream of the crop from this class is securing a spot with the U.S. U17 Men’s National Team for the 2019 cycle. With the Bradenton Residency program coming to an end, the landscape will look quite different at the end of this year, once the U17 World Cup takes place in India and a new cycle begins.

While the bulk of the group will likely hail from the 2002 age group and the 2020 graduating class, the elite talent from the class of 2021 is likely to factor into the U17 cycle.
These four players in particular – all from the top of the rankings – look like they could provide a cornerstone of the next U17 MNT.
