2022 Men’s Recruiting Rankings: June
The latest men’s Division I recruiting class rankings are out for the month of June, looking at the Top 40 additions for the class of 2022.
Based off reported commitments, transfer and internationals, it’s a projection at which programs are adding the best talent for this fall and beyond. With players still electing to turn pro, there were a handful of changes in the latest update.

1. San Diego State* (1)
Commitments: D Tristan Viviani (San Jose Earthquakes – No. 33), F Austin Brummett (New York Red Bulls – No. 35), M Ty Reynolds (FC Dallas – No. 57), F Calvin Fodrey (San Diego Loyal – No. 73), F Berin Droemer (Solar SC – No. 84), M Dylan Presto (LAFC – No. 87), M Alex Borsos (Houston Dynamo – No. 119), M Javier Camargo (San Diego Loyal), M Reid Fisher (Slammers FC), M Lorenzo Hernandez (De Anza Force SC)
The Aztecs have a firm grip on the top spot. Several players will get pro experience this year, including Viviani, Fodrey and Presto. Bringing in talent on paper is one step, the next is getting the most out of it on the field. Brummett is the most recent addition, and he’ll join the top class in the rankings.
2. Wake Forest* (2)
Commitments: D Cooper Flax (NYCFC – No. 23), D Vladimir Walent (Colorado Rapids – No. 47), D Samuel Jones (Philadelphia Union – No. 53), F Nicholas Rabiu (New York Red Bulls – No. 121), GK Devin Armstrong (Tampa Bay United Rowdies), M Alec Kenison (Columbus Crew SC), M Aethan Yohannes (AZ Alkmaar)
Transfers: F Sidney Paris (Navy)
Yohannes is the most recent addition to a Wake Forest class that is edging closer and closer to potentially moving into the No. 1 spot.
