Check out the Top 35 incoming groups.
1. UCLA (1)
Commitments: D Kathryn Kelly (Bay Area Surf – No. 6), GK Neeku Purcell (Reign Academy – No. 11), M Ellie Walbruch (Real Colorado – No. 15), M Peyton Marcisz (Bay Area Surf – No. 17), F America Frias (Bay Area Surf – No. 20), M Ally Lemos (Legends FC – No. 23), M Sofia Cook (So Cal Blues – No. 25), F Julia Saunicheva (Bay Area Surf – No. 33), D Cori James (Lonestar SC – No. 63), F Bridgette Marin-Valencia (PSV Union – No. 129)
The new coaching staff is in place in Westwood, and has the No. 1 class joining this year. Can they keep pace with Stanford in the upcoming season? Kelly in particular looks ready to play a role, as she was excellent for FC Bay Area Surf. Purcell helped the U.S. U20 WNT win the recent Concacaf Championship.
2. Stanford* (2)
Commitments: D Elise Evans (Bay Area Surf – No. 1), F Allison Montoya (MVLA – No. 3), D Jasmine Aikey (MVLA – No. 5), F Lumi Kostmayer (NYSC – No. 14), M Freya Spiekerkoetter (MVLA – No. 29), F Amalie Pianim (MVLA – No. 65), F Logan Smith (Boise Thorns)
A remarkable class that has four players from the excellent MVLA 04 squad is the foundation for Stanford’s incoming group. Evans, Montoya and Aikey all look like contenders to start right away.
3. North Carolina* (3)
Commitments: F Tori DellaPeruta (United Futbol Academy – No. 9), GK Nona Reason (Slammers FC HB Koge – No. 12), D Sydney Cheesman (Colorado Rush – No. 21), F Tessa Dellarose (Pittsburgh Riverhounds – No. 22), D Kayleigh Herr (NC Courage – No. 28), F Madeline Dahlien (Minnesota Thunder Academy – No. 66), F Kate Faasse (SC del Sol – No. 108), M Maci Teater (St. Louis Scott Gallagher – No. 135), F Madelyn Galbus (Penn Fusion)
Top recruits are once again flocking to Chapel Hill, with Tori DellaPeruta slated to join her sister at the ACC program.
