ALBION SC Welcomes ALBION SC Los Angeles
ALBION SC has announced that effective immediately, Los Angeles United Futbol Academy will officially become ALBION SC Los Angeles.
LAUFA has been a high-profile club in Los Angeles, part of the US Soccer Development Academy, and is now part of MLS Next and EA. ALBION SC will propel this project that has been in existence within Los Angeles to support and develop the best talent in the Los Angeles area. ALBION SC will draw upon the incredible base of talent that LAUFA currently has while bringing more support, structure, resources and build a long-term sustainable pathway for top elite talent in Los Angeles. ALBION SC will be joined by some key stakeholders in the Los Angeles and Hollywood area that are passionate about the game of soccer and who are committed to making soccer a vehicle for player development but more importantly for personal growth both on and off the field.
We welcome the City of Los Angeles to the ALBION SC Family and look forward to embracing the former Los Angeles United Futbol Academy (LAUFA) members and supporting them immediately. The new relationship will expand the ALBION SC reach and National soccer club's network, throughout the Los Angeles area. This comes after a great strategic alliance to really help develop soccer further with no boundaries and limits. ALBION SC with over 15,000 players and over 20 clubs all over the US is the the vehicle to advance soccer in this country as well as specific markets and become market leaders.
Formerly LAUFA, now ALBION SC Los Angeles, connects with one of the most Elite clubs in the nation, providing a platform for immediate national recognition, and receiving major operational and strategic support from a very successful and prestigious organization. In addition, it connects ALBION SC Los Angeles to the recruitment and scouting system of its very strong college placement program and professional clubs in the network.
ALBION SC continues to expand due to the demand from programs to innovate and change the status quo, while gaining tremendous insight and structure of ALBION SC and the road map to build the model club. The club takes the success of their existing program and utilizes the branding, structure, reputation, programming, and the resources developed at ALBION SC to reach new levels and opportunities for players, teams and staff.
“There are decades of success and equity built into ALBION SC and for us to share that with other programs and allow other programs to gain from this is a reward not only to the clubs receiving, but to our own club as a testament of the hard work paying off in doing the right things year after year.”
Mark Santistevan, ALBION SC, COO
