BC women's soccer adds eight for 2016
The Boston College women's soccer team received eight commitments for the 2016 class, announced head coach Alison Foley. BC is excited to welcome Jenna Bike from Trumbull, Conn.; Samantha Hiatt from Seattle, Washington; Kayla Jennings, from Montclair, New Jersey; Caitlyn Keenan, from Bow, New Hampshire; Emily Langenderfer from Lone Tree, Colorado; Jade Ruiters from Kensington, Maryland; Erin Seppi, from Monroe Township, New Jersey and Olivia Vaughn from Montclair, New Jersey.
This incoming class was ranked fifth nationally by TopDrawerSoccer.com.
"Our 2016 class encompasses top players in the country in every position from the goal to the forward line. This group of players may be our most athletic we have ever had in one class,'' said BC head coach Alison Foley, who is entering her 20th season at BC. "Many of them have been committed for quite some time, so they are a close-knit group that understands the standard of excellence the BC soccer program and our alumni expect. The majority of them have national team experience which will help them with their transition into the ACC. We are looking forward to them making an immediate impact both on the field and in the classroom.''
