There were 12 hat tricks over the weekend in Development Academy games. It marked a two-day stretch where goals were seemingly inevitable at any game across the country.
The high frequency of goals led to many worthy candidates for the TDS Player of the Week including a trio of New York Red Bulls who all scored a hat trick in the same game.
