The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team begins the defense of its Concacaf crown on Thursday, November 1.
Given the tournament’s new format (more on that in next week’s preview content) there will be ample chances for players on the 20-man roster to compete against regional competition.
It’s a big opportunity for players on the U.S. roster. For many that have a earned a call-up, they are surplus to requirements or have been unable to crack the rotation at their respective MLS club. Or, for the four college players on the roster, this week is the ultimate showcase, with pro scouts near and far looking on.
