Boys ECNL Playoffs: Avalanche triumph
The 2021 Boys ECNL National Playoffs finished on Friday down in Greensboro, North Carolina.
On the final day of play, a champion was crowned at the U13 age group, while tickets were punched to St. Louis for the U14 and U15 sides.

No. 2 seed overall Utah Avalanche defeated San Diego SC to win the national championship at the U13 age group.
Alejandro Vasquez scored the opening goal for Utah Avalanche, which held a 1-0 lead at the half. Jace Thomsen added a second of two goals in the second half, as the Utah side held on for the comfortable win.

U14 semifinal, U15 quarterfinal fields set
With four teams advancing from the U14 age group, and eight in the U15 age group, the National Finals field is now determined for the Boys ECNL. Set to be held from July 22-26 in the St. Louis area, U14-U17 teams will take place in the finals.
Arlington SA, San Diego SC, La Roca FC and Crossfire Premier will head to St. Louis after winning their quarterfinal matches on Friday in the U14 age group.
U15 sides competed in Round of 16 matches, advancing to quarterfinal games in just under two weeks. Dallas Texans, Lonestar SC South, Arlington SA, Eclipse Select, Washington Premier, NCFC Youth Academy, Charlotte SA National and CESA are the eight teams to make it through.
