Boys ECNL: Five clubs to watch in 2017-18
While the new club landscape continues to shape at youth levels in the Development Academy, U.S. Club Soccer’s ECNL has also jumped into the foray.
The Boys ECNL is launching this fall, adding another option for players looking for a competitive outlet in the soccer landscape. Five conferences will form the bedrock of the league this season, with Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, Texas and Southwest league providing regional competition.
There are several familiar club sides that are set to take part this season, which kicks off at varying points this season. National events have been scheduled in Florida at the end of this year, San Diego next April, and a Pennsylvania event Memorial Day weekend in 2018.
As the season begins, keep an eye on these five boys clubs as the new league takes hold.
