Southern California squads were the story on Saturday's ECNL Girls National Finals.

Of the five age groups to contest a championship game, four were won by teams from the Southern California Conference.

Beach FC (CA) captured the Under-17 age group with a 5-1 win against regional counterparts Legends FC. After a tense 20 minutes, Player of the Match winner Avery Oder scored in the 21st minute. That opened up the scoring, and by the half, Beach led 3-0. Mechal Green and Skyla Wilkins tacked on goals. Oder added another in the second half, before a second goals from Wilkins made it 5-0 60 minutes into the match. Shannon Davidson had three assists for Beach as well. Legends pulled a goal back from an own goal.

Locking horns with Pacific Northwest powerhouse Crossfire Premier, Penn Fusion 08s won a wild matchup by a 3-2 score. Kate Kemmerley nabbed Player of the Match nod for the age group, as the impressive PA side backed up a strong run in Seattle by beating Real Colorado and De Anza Force prior to the title matchup.

Appearing as one of the Under-15 contenders at the national playoffs, San Diego Surf won the age group with a 2-0 win over KC Athletics in the final. They opened up the competition with a 2-0 defeat of Penn Fusion before securing a 2-1 semifinal victory against Solar.

Entering with a team in all five age groups, Slammers FC HB Koge won the Under-14 title in another all-Southern California matchup. Taking on a talented Legends FC squad, Slammers edged the encounter by a 1-0 score.

Rounding out the quartet of title winners was a second championship for San Diego Surf. It was a 2-1 win against another SoCal foe, beating So Cal Blues in the title game.
