Circle City Showcase: Saturday's standouts
WESTFIELD, IN – The 2022 Circle City Soccer Showcase kicked off officially on Saturday after inclement weather forced all of Friday’s events to be canceled. Fortunately, the dozens of club participants and players were treated to sunny skies and a brisk winter air throughout Saturday morning and afternoon.
With nearly 50 matches taking place each day at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind., the first day of the Circle City Soccer Showcase did not disappoint in terms of standout performers. From steady goalkeepers to stout defenders to game-changing forwards and midfielders, there were plenty of individual performances that caught the eye.
With that, here’s a look at some of the best performers from day one of the girls’ Circle City Soccer Showcase.
