Girls

Charlotte SA ECNL 06/07 – CSA hosted NC Fusion on Saturday. The team posted a 5-1 win after being down 0-1. Blane McElroy started scoring, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist, followed by Devin McElroy with 1 goal and 1assist. Lileah Devereaux and Sadie Peterson each also added a goal, while Dempsey McMahon, Jessica Mattson and Sadie Badgett each added an assist.

VDA 06/07 ECNL – Aryanna Oliver scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over SUSA. The Radford commit dominated the midfield throughout the match at the PDA Showcase. Chase Rooney and Haley Garber combined for the shutout in goal.

PDA Blue 06/07 ECNL – The PDA U19 got off and running this weekend with a commanding 4-0 victory over Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals in the Conference Cup. Goals were scored by Carli Wysocki, Addison Halpern, Jordana DeNegri and Lena Tusche. Sunday was followed up with an impressive 6-1 win versus Pipeline, showcasing their offensive strength and teamwork. Halpern opened up the scoring just minutes into the first half. Kennedi Cotter followed with two goals of her own. Tusche, DeNegri and Aubrey Scoble also scored for PDA Blue 06/07. Starting the season with two big wins sets PDA with a great start of the season.

Solar SC 08 ECNL – Solar traveled  to Houston over the weekend and came back with a 1-0-1 record and a +5-goal differential. Scoring was provided by Jordan Hill with 2 (Assists from Brynnlee Bohannon, Zoe Miles), Zoe Miles with two (Brynnlee Bohannon), Kamiya Beck (Zoe Miles), and Savannah Johnson (Caroline Swann). Solar's defense put in a solid weekend relinquishing only one goal against Challenge SC ECNL 08 on Saturday.

VDA 08 ECNL – Audrey McKeen scored five goals and assisted on another in the VDA U17s 3-0 win over SUSA and 3-3 tie vs FC Stars Blue.

Nationals Blue 08 ECNL – The Nationals 08 Blue continued their strong ECNL play, earning victories against the Rockford Raptors and FC Wisconsin. On Saturday, the team claimed a 4-0 win over the Raptors, with Lily Jeakle and the Nationals’ defense leading the charge. Jeakle completed a hat trick and assisted on the fourth goal (Ava Ruffino) after drawing a PK. Her first goal came off a perfectly executed give-and-go with Ruffino, setting the tone for the match as she continually kept the Raptors’ defense on their heels. Equally impressive was the Nationals’ defensive unit, which stood strong and denied Rockford any real scoring opportunities. Sunday’s matchup against FC Wisconsin was a tighter contest, but Jeakle again proved to be the difference-maker, scoring the game’s only goal with a crisp one-on-one move and a powerful finish after a well-placed pass from Lauren Stanley. The Nationals’ solid defense and Jeakle’s offensive creativity paved the way for a successful weekend.

VDA 09 ECNL – VDA 09s won both matches 1-0 this weekend over World Class FC and FC Stars Blue. Morgan Newton and Lauren Cherry combined for the shutouts. Hannah Francis scored the game winner vs World Class and Taylor Morrell the winner vs FC Stars.

Legends FC 06/07 ECNL – It was a rematch of this summer's 07 ECNL National Final over the weekend, as Legends and defending champs Beach FC battled to a 2-2 draw. The match was the final ECNL game for 2024 before the midway break for high school soccer. Beach FC opened up the scoring with a goal from Mechal Green 20 minutes into the game. Lucy Landherr equalized off an assist by Mia Goettsche. Kate Ryan put Beach back in front early in the second half, tapping home a great assist from Shannon Davidson. Goettsche headed home the equalizer from a Scotti Antonucci corner kick to make it 2-2. Avery Oder was always a threat and quick to take shots on goal and was instrumental in distributing to her teammates.
The Legends attack of Kyla Dawn, Ryder Ajeto and Goettsche consistently put pressure on the talented defensive backline from Beach with multiple shots on goal. Alexis Coughlin and Samantha Marella led the the center back line with great composure and smart decision making while Grace Hamm and Daya King were effective in keeping Beach's wings out side. Both goalkeeepers Morgan Farham (Beach) and Ava De Leest (Legends), had exceptional games and were able to hold the two powerhouse lineups to only two goals a piece. Beach missed a PK for a chance to win it, and also hit the post twice.

VDA 10 ECNL – Caelyn Jimenez and Harlow Barnhart both scored and assisted each other in VDA U15s 2-1 win over SUSA.
