Consistency is king for Dynamo Academy
Houston Dynamo has made a number of big moves in recent years from the front office to the team on the field. Nearly everything has been changed slightly or significantly over the past two years. Former MLS goalkeeper Matt Jordan has been the one behind those moves. Jordan was promoted to Senior Vice President/General Manager for the Texas franchise in March of 2018.
Jordan cut his teeth with the Montreal Impact front office, and now he is executing his vision with the Dynamo. One of the first moves Jordan made was to hire Paul Holocher as the Academy Director for the Dynamo in July of 2018.
Holocher was the San Jose Earthquakes Academy Director of Formation prior to the appointment with Houston. He also has experience in the college game as the former head coach of Cal Poly.
Nearly two years later, Holocher chatted with TopDrawerSoccer about joining Dynamo, leaving the Quakes, and his vision for the Dynamo academy’s future.
