D Madeline Jones, IMG Academy U17 (FL) – Jones, IMG’s captain, was always in the mix of things, offensively and defensively. On throw-ins, she could toss it a good 20 yards. She had a boot on her and used her body well to control the ball.
D Delaney Bartol, Aztec Soccer 97 Black U17 (MA) – It’s only fitting that a game with a final score of 0-0 includes three defenders. Bartol was brilliant on the back line for Aztec as she kept IMG from going on runs and getting in deep.
