Both the 2021 and 2022 recruiting classes for men’s Division I soccer have been throw for a lurch due to COVID-19.
The NLI signing window technically opens this November for the class of 2022, and in light of the pandemic, plenty of work remains. The good news is that in-person recruiting is set to resume on June 1. That means this summer will see an increase in players committing to men’s programs next year. After all, finishing touches need to be put for this fall.
Enough commitments have been reported to at least take a quick snapshot at which programs have landed the most 2022 additions from the IMG Academy player rankings.
