REDMOND, Wash. – Tuesday marked the final day of group play for the Under-16 and Under -17 teams at the ECNL Girls Champions League Playoffs.
It also featured the Under-19 semifinals. San Diego Surf powered past the Portland Thorns by a 5-2 score. They’ll face Concorde Fire Platinum in Thursday’s final, after the Fire upset SLSG Navy on penalty kicks. The two sides drew 1-1, with Concorde winning 4-3 from the spot.
