The Southeast Conference is a fascinating one in the ECNL Girls. With stacked teams in the Atlanta area, it’s common for those teams to dominate in the final standings.
But there is plenty of quality in the Florida sides, spanning up and down the state. Toss in South Carolina United and Alabama FC and it’s a conference that brings together plenty of talent. Postseason success was limited this past summer, however, as no team managed to make it to the ECNL National Finals from the U13-U17 age groups. Still, there is ample team and talent to watch.
Set to kick off this weekend, here’s a look at some of the teams and players to know ahead of the new season.
