The Elite Academy National Championship wrapped up the 2022-2023 season with six age groups on Sunday, June 11 at MoneyGram Complex in Dallas, Texas.

Each final was separated by a single goal, as competitive finals in each age group wrapped up the event.

Two age groups featured returning National Champions as they attempted to secure a repeat: Chicago Fire Juniors in the U17 age group and 1974 Newark FC in the U14 age group. Both won the National Championship last year and returned to the final game one year later. 1974 Newark FC completed the task, defeating Tonka Fusion.

California club powerhouse Strikers FC secured two titles on Sunday, winning the U15 and U16 age groups.

"It was our goal all season long since losing in the semifinal last year to come back to Dallas and win the EA national championship," Strikes FC Director and Coach Dan Harrison said. "EA put on a fantastic event in Dallas and the team looks forward to coming back next year and defending their title."

Added Boulder City United Director Dave Carver:

"As a club that had five teams represented at the EA National Championships, we had a big picture view of the quality and high level experience this event gave to players and coaches. The top 16 teams across the EA competing in each age group in a knockout event gave players invaluable experiences and put them in demanding game situations that only this environment could provide. We witnessed close fought matches, many penalty shoot out endings and the emotion and passion of high level competition that you want to see when the best teams come together. Everything from the facilities, to EA staff, to referees to the ability to adapt against bad weather was top class and the EA ensured the players had an event worthy of crowning National Champions. With two finalist finishes, our club is now motivated to work harder over the next year and go one better in 2024."
