Even with her freshman year in high school coming to a close, Alexa Spaanstra made up her mind about her future college home.
Spaanstra, an attacking ace for Michigan Hawks U15 ECNL side that lifted the U14 title in Seattle last summer, is a fixture with the U.S. Under 17 WNT and the second ranked recruit in the class of 2018.
A host of reasons drew her to Virginia.
