Head-to-head matchups and outstanding league records allow a new No. 1 to emerge in each of the younger age groups.
Thanksgiving tourney talk at U13
FC Dallas Youth 03G Premier remains second in the Lake Highlands Girls Classic League top division’s standings, but with a perfect record of 6-0, and coupled with an undefeated run at the recent Tulsa Jr ECNL event, climbs to No. 20.
Georgia’s GSA finished its state club season undefeated and on top of the standings over the likes of Tophat Platinum and Concorde Fire Central Elite. GSA will head to the Disney Junior Showcase over the holiday weekend, where it could face FC Dallas or No. 2 Arsenal SC Brown if it makes it out of its group unscathed.

Match Fit, Eclipse climb at U14
Match Fit Academy ticks up a notch this month to No. 6 after taking over the top spot in the ECNL Northeast Conference. Match Fit has just one loss on the season, to conference rival PDA, and looks to continue its reign over the winter months since play doesn’t resume in this conference until March.
Eclipse Select climbs into the top 20 as it finishes out the fall season with a 5-0-1 record good enough for second in the ECNL Midwest Conference. IMG Academy 150 No. 33 and U.S. U15 Girls National Team member Kalyssa Van Zanten has five goals in the six matches, including the game winner in the season opener against Vardar.
Georgia’s Concorde Fire remains undefeated in ECNL play this season with a 10-0-4 record, and climbs to No. 4 in our standings. IMG Academy Class of 2019 forwards Croix Bethune (No. 3) and Nicole Payne (No. 42) lead the way for this group with eight goals a piece, but 10 players have contributed to the score sheet, making this team difficult to defend.
Another Atlanta area team on the rise is GSA who suffered a couple of losses early in the season, but has been on an 8-0-2 run since climbing to 10-2-2 and a respectable third in the tough Southeast Conference, behind No. 18 Tophat and Concorde Fire. Like Concorde (and Tophat), GSA has a plethora of players that have added to the stats. Lillian Babalola, Macy Douglas, Nieva Gaither, Juveina Hylton, Kristi Jones, and Ciara Whitely have each contributed at least five goals on the season.
Next Week: U16, U17 and U18 Boys update
Grande Sports Academy TeamRank Top 25 is the comprehensive team-ranking system devised by TopDrawerSoccer.com to provide an objective and common-sense approach to determining which elite youth soccer teams are the best in the nation.
The rankings, updated monthly, are primarily results-based, with a nod toward the league and championship competitions that emulate how excellence is determined in leading soccer nations around the world.
Tournaments are also included but at a reduced value due to the many mitigating factors involving such events, including attrition and guest players.
A final layer of executive evaluation is provided to account for variables that often impact results, thus ensuring that the monthly lists are not subjective, but are not purely mechanical.
