IMG Top 150 Players: Girls Class of 2020
TopDrawerSoccer released the Top 150 Players for the girls class of 2020, presented by IMG Academy, on Monday. This class consists of current high school sophomores. Many of the top players in this class are part of the U.S. U16 and U17 Women’s National Teams. If you would like to recommend a player for consideration for any Top 150 ranking, please email rankings@topdrawersoccer.com.
The top three remains the same with Jordan Caniff, Astrid Wheeler, and Lia Godfrey as the three five-star players in this class. Makenna Morris and Samantha Meza move up into the top five with this update. Both have been incredible with the Youth National Teams in the past year.
Among the top 20, defender Elaine Rouse is the big mover. Rouse jumps up to No. 19 in the Top 150 Players in the Girls Class of 2020. She is now ranked as the fourth best defender in this class. Smith Hunter, Abby Allen, Katherine Groff, and Aislynn Crowder all jump into the top 20 in this update.
The top newcomer to the list is goalkeeper Leah Freeman, who is No. 29 in the class with the new update. Freeman is ranked as the No. 3 goalkeeper in her class. All of the top five goalkeepers in this class have plenty of Youth National Team experience.
