IMG Top 150: Girls Class of 2018
The TopDrawerSoccer National Girls Top 150 Player Ranking, presented by IMG Academy, for the Class of 2018 has been revised for the Winter 2018 update. This is the penultimate update for this class, as the group will be updated in the Spring following Signing Day.
Forward Sophia Smith remains the top player in the class. Smith, a Stanford commit, is currently with the U.S. U20 Women’s National Team at the 2018 CONCACAF Championship. She is expected to be the top college talent from this class.
While Smith holds her spot, there are a number of other changes in the IMG Academy Top 150 Players for the Girls Class of 2018. St. Louis Scott Gallagher standout Anna Lawler jumps up the ranking with this update. Lawler is expected to contribute immediately at the Division I level.
So Cal Blues forward Penelope Hocking also jumps up to No. 43 with this update. Hocking is a high-pressure forward who can generate her own chances or finish off service from her teammates.
Hocking is just one of a handful of players new to the ranking with this update. Check out the TopDrawerSoccer National Girls Top 150 Players, presented by IMG Academy, for the Class of 2018.
