Midwest sensation heads west for 2013
Zoey Goralski is a Midwestern girl through and through, but there’s just something about the West Coast that entices her.
“I just love everything about it there,” she said. “I spend a lot of time there for national team and ODP camps.”
And now, college.
Of course, no one from that group will be coming from as far east as Goralski who is the No. 13 ranked player on the 2013 Top 100 class.
A standout winger for Team Chicago, Goralski is known for her high energy play and her runs up the sidelines.
She strongly considered Virginia and Wake Forest before she was taken by the allure of the Bruins’ campus in Westwood, California.
“I just had a gut feeling about it when I stepped on campus, Goralski said. “I really connected with the coaching staff and I love the style of play they enforce. The program has everything I was looking for.”
Including a nice West Coast location.
