With so many games of high quality club soccer, the decision was made to split the Best XI from the event to players from the Showcase games and the players from the Generation Adidas event. The Best XI from the GA qualifiers can be seen below. 

The players selected were the top players observed from the in-person scouting at the event as well as some post-event video scouting. The success of the team was taken into account for selection to the Team of the Event (i.e. preference was given to players who helped their teams win the group). There was a limit of one player per team.
