New U16 players populate Top 100
To say it’s an important year for the 2012 Boys graduating class is a gross understatement.
While many high-profile players in the group have already made verbal commitments to DI colleges, there are a still a number out there determining where they will go, as college programs maneuver with one another to make the offer that will entice treasured prospects to climb on board.
Of course a lot of players, like #1 selection Raul Mendiola, a two-time Academy Player of the Year, are much more likely to go the professional route, but there are a still a number of college prospects in the mix. You can follow the rankings here.
In the coming weeks, we will be calling through Academy coaches to get a more updated understanding of who is carrying the water for whom in both the 2012 and 2013 age groups, along with gathering updated data for regional rankings for classes 2014 and younger.
