Notre Dame lands its first 2013 star

Brandon Aubrey recently proved himself as one of the top players in the country with his performance as one of 78 players who competed in the Development Academy Winter Showcase Select games.
In time, Aubrey’s games will be for even higher stakes. The Dallas Texans midfielder has committed to Notre Dame for the 2013 season, choosing the Fighting Irish over programs like Michigan, Louisville and Maryland.

The 6-foot-2 standout is our No. 57 ranked player in his class. He currently leads his Texans team in goals but also excels as a holding midfielder or defender.Other boys’ commits, include:
Geoffrey Hill (Dallas Texans) has verbally committed to Old Dominion for the 2012 season.
Derek Sanchez (West Texas United) has verbally committed to Division II Midwestern State University for the 2012 season. Sanchez is No. 13 in the Texas Region.
Nigel Robinson (DC United) has verbally committed to Maryland for the 2013 season.
Brian Bates (Real Salt Lake AZ) has verbally committed to Dayton for the 2012 season.
Colby Trah (De Anza Force SC) has verbally committed to Portland for the 2012 season.
Matt Escobar (De Anza Force SC) has verbally committed to Portland for the 2012 season.
Transfers:
Andy Hess has transferred from Dean College to Rhode Island for the 2012 season.
