GK Austin Call, Elk Grove United Everton ’96 (U19): Call showed why he’s headed to Azusa Pacific, the same NAIA school that produced San Jose Earthquakes forward Steven Lenhart, by making a multitude of different saves over the weekend. He was especially impressive in a 2-0 win over Mustang where he dominated the box despite his 5-11 frame.
D Tyler Pangia, Mustang SC Hotspur (U19): The incoming University of the Pacific(m) freshman marauded up and down the left side of the field all weekend, combining with teammates to create chances. Pangia was also particularly impressive in his one on one defending.
