The restart of U.S. youth national team camps sees the U17 squad back in action, along with a camp coming up for the Under-20 WNT.
It’s all done with one eye on the 2022 U20 Women’s World Cup. To be eligible, players have to be born in January 1, 2002 or after. Next week’s camp will focus mainly on which younger players can push their way into the qualifying squad, as those born in 2002 are all playing college soccer.
This week’s camp is a huge opportunity for some of the top players set to graduate in 2022 (and beyond) to stake a claim on a roster spot for the qualifying tournament. Below are some names to keep an eye on as things kick off in California.
