The preparations for the Under-17 Women’s World Cup continue this week, with a training camp in Florida from March 1-7.
The bulk of the roster is comprised of players born in 2007 (and one in 2008). All will be eligible for next year’s Under-17 World Cup, including the qualifying tournament.
Several players on the roster were part of the U15 Concacaf Championship-winning team for the U.S. With around a year to go until the actual tournament, each camp is going to be important for players looking to make a case for the qualifying team.
Here’s a closer look at five players to know from the roster.
