Princeton men announces class of 2019
Princeton head men’s soccer coach Jim Barlow and assistant coach Steve Totten are pleased to announce the incoming student-athletes who will make up the Class of 2019.
“We think this is one of our stronger and deeper classes in recent memory," Totten said. "All seven should compete for playing time on a talented returning roster. The group will address some immediate needs and they will serve as a very strong foundation for the future. There is a good mix of players in each part of the field and a mix of technical ability, athleticism, and competitive spirit. We are excited to watch this group develop and contribute to Princeton soccer.”
Princeton is coming off of a 11-3-3 season and its second Ivy League championship in the last five years. The Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year, Cameron Porter became the fifth Princeton player in the last five years to be drafted in the MLS and was signed by Montréal.
The 2015 team will be captained by Josh Miller and Brendan McSherry, both first-team All-Ivy League honorees.
