Princeton welcomes six for class of 2019
Princeton will welcome six members of the Princeton Class of 2019 to a team that returns six of its seven goal scorers from 2014. Here are the six new Tigers and assistant coach Ron Celestin's thoughts on each:
Mimi Asom • Forward

Club: Dallas Sting
"Mimi is a natural striker who scores goals at an alarming rate. She has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. She will complement a very talented group of attacking players. We are fortunate to have gotten Mimi late in the process and we are confident she will be impactful for many years to come."
Asom held a No. 67 ranking on the IMG top 150 and helped her club team to an ECNL title in 2014 and 2015, finishing as the team's top scorer in both years. Asom has ODP experience, playing in the 2013 ODP Region III championship tournament, the 2012 ODP Thanksgiving Interregional, playing with the Region III team from 2011-13 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Costa Rica, and she was a part of the 2010 and 2011 Region III camp.
Leah Becker • Midfield

"Leah is a talented individual and a highly versatile attacking player who can play in multiple positions and in multiple systems. Leah's work rate is unsurpassed and we look forward to infusing her into our style of player."
Becker's PDA team reached the ECNL national quarterfinals each year from 2012-14 and was a part of the id2 regional camp in 2011 and played at the U.S. National Training Center in 2011 and 2012.
