EvoSpeed finish showcase in winning ways, top Team Puma
Midfielder Christina Trickett’s early first-half goal was all EvoSpeed needed to clinch a 1-0 victory over Team Puma.
Trickett’s goal came in the 12th minute when a defensive error led to her capitalizing on the opportunity. Despite being down early, Team Puma pressured hard for an equalizer, as forward Belle Briede almost found the net four times throughout the match, but was denied by the mighty EvoSpeed’s defensive unit
Although they won their first game, Team Puma finished their last two matches without a goal being scored while also conceding four goals in the process.
