Regional Rankings Boys 2019 Spring update
The Spring Regional Rankings Update for 2017 continues with the Boys Class of 2019, which was released on Thursday. The updated regional ranking reflects the latest changes to the updated 2019 IMG Academy Top 150 rankings.
Orlando City’s Jordan Bender makes the big leap in the Florida region for the Spring update. Bender, a standout for his club team, was recently named to the U.S. U16 Boys National Team roster for the Tournoi de Montagui in France. Bender is one of the top forwards in the nation. He is No. 4 in the Florida region for the Spring 2017 update after checking in at No. 25 in the last update. IMG Academy’s Kevin Peraza was another big mover in the new update. Peraza checks in at No. 6 in Florida, which is one of the strongest regions in this age group for boys club soccer.
There are a number of new names in the Mid-Atlantic regional ranking for the boys clas of 2019. Baltimore Armour’s Chase Webbert is the top new player from the region. He checks in at No. 5 in the area for the spring update. Joshua Morgan, Alex Stevenson, Danique Parker, and Mark Cantor are other new players to the top 20 in the regional ranking for the Mid-Atlantic.
Jalen Anderson, Oakwood SC, is the new No. 1 player in the Northeast Regional Rankings for the boys class of 2019 spring update. Anderson is a top prospect in the area and has been called into the Youth National Team.
