Regional stars announce college decisions
March 23, 2011
Bria Washington is an athletic and dangerous striker who has a bright future ahead of her. Boston College obviously agrees as Washington has committed to the Eagles for the 2012 season.
“Boston College has plenty to offer and I am looking forward to the overall experience of attending college there,” Washington said. “It is nationally known for its academics and women's soccer program, and out of all the colleges I have visited, the BC coaching staff made me feel right at home and was the right fit for me.”
Elisa Robiglio
A product of the North Atlanta Soccer Association, Washington is an ODP standout who showed off her finishing ability at this past weekend’s US Youth Soccer National League. Washington is our No. 10 ranked player in the South Atlantic Region, while her team is currently ranked ninth in the country in its age division.
Her conversion to the ACC should be a fruitful marriage for Washington and Boston College.
