CARSON, Calif. — The U.S. U17 Women’s National Team won the 2016 NTC Invitational on Monday. The victory over Japan was one of the lesser goals in a calendar year that includes the CONCACAF Championship in March and then possibility of the 2016 U17 World Cup later in the year.
Monday’s game served its purpose though. The U17 WNT coaching staff gained another valuable international game to evaluate and assess the roster prior to the meaning World Cup Qualifying competition in Grenada.
